2.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this information solely to identify your account within the Service.

2.2 Google Drive Data

With your explicit permission, we access files in your Google Drive using the drive.readonly scope. This means we can only read files — we never modify, delete, or share your Drive files. We access Drive data solely to:

  • Extract text content from files you select (PDF, DOCX, TXT, Google Docs)
  • Index that content into a private vector database assigned exclusively to your account
  • Allow you to ask questions about your own documents through our chat interface

2.3 Uploaded Files (Library)

You may also upload files directly to MrBird AI. These files are processed to extract text, indexed for search, and stored securely in your private namespace.

2.4 Chat History

Conversations you have with the AI assistant are stored to provide chat history and continuity across sessions.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect exclusively to:

  • Provide and operate the MrBird AI document Q&A service
  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your session
  • Index your documents so the AI can answer your questions
  • Store your conversation history for your own reference
  • Enforce usage limits and prevent abuse

We do not use your documents or conversations to train AI models. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Google API Services

MrBird AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to Google Drive data that is necessary to provide the Service
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide the Service
  • We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google Drive data unless you have given explicit permission or it is required for security purposes

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using the following third-party services, each with their own security standards:

  • Supabase — stores your account information, document text, and chat history
  • Pinecone — stores vector embeddings of your document content in a private namespace

Each user's data is isolated in a dedicated namespace. We implement row-level security to ensure you can only access your own data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your documents at any time from within the Service. To request full account deletion and removal of all associated data, contact us at the email address below.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Delete your documents and conversation history from within the Service
  • Request full deletion of your account and all associated data
  • Revoke Google Drive access at any time via your Google Account permissions

8. Third-Party Services

We use Google Gemini API to generate AI responses and create document embeddings. Document content is sent to Google's API solely for this purpose and is not retained by Google beyond the immediate request, per Google's API terms.

9. Children's Privacy

MrBird AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
